Raspberry Pink Gold Fleck Cleft Cradle Resin Sculpture (52cm) by Giant Sculptures, glossy curved form with gold flecks, shown on a plain white background.
Raspberry Pink Gold Fleck Cleft Cradle Resin Sculpture - 52cm $2,43700
Description

Clear raspberry pink resin, polished to a high gloss, is shaped into a cleft cradle: a long, low belly with a blunt tip rising at one end and, at the other, a high wall curving over at the top. Fine gold-toned flecks are scattered right through the pink, sparkling pale gold where the light catches them and showing as tiny brown-gold specks in shadow. The colour deepens to plum along the rims and the lip, and the walls are clear enough for one curve to be seen through another. There is no base to it; the cradle settles straight onto the rounded underside of its body.

Gold-Toned Flecks Through Clear Raspberry Pink

Pink and gold can easily turn sugary, and what keeps this cradle from it is clarity. The resin is clear rather than milky, so the raspberry reads as a jewel colour and one wall can be seen through the other, while the flecks are fine enough to read as a scatter of light rather than as decoration. Along the rims the pink gathers into a deep plum line that draws the outline of the piece against whatever stands behind it. The belly dips low between the blunt tip and the high, curling wall, which gives the cradle a slow, rising rhythm from one end to the other.

A sideboard, a console or a wide desk can take it, with the open side towards the room and space around it to walk past. Daylight is its friend: set near a window, the raspberry clears and brightens and the gold flecks glint as the light shifts through the day. Against white or pale grey the pink looks its truest, while a dark wall pushes it towards wine. It suits a dressing room, a bedroom or a bright hallway as readily as a living room.

Raspberry Tint, Flecks and Packing

Count on the difference between standard and bespoke: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. On commission the raspberry can be pushed towards fuchsia or softened to a rose, the gold-toned flecks thinned or omitted for a plain clear pink, and the plum at the rims kept or cleared away. The cradle can also be scaled to another width, its blunt tip and curling wall kept in proportion, or given a frosted surface for a softer, powdery pink. It travels on a shaped bed in its crate with the curling wall padded, and once unpacked it is raised by the body, with no grip on either rim. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Clear raspberry pink scattered with fine gold-toned flecks takes this cleft cradle into our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.

Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
