A low display plinth, close to a cube, in frosted violet acrylic sheet. The faces hold a soft orchid violet under the frost, even from edge to edge, and every edge deepens to a strong magenta-purple, so the block is outlined in its own colour. The frost is dense enough that nothing behind it shows through, and its closed, flat top gives a level ground for a single piece.
Colour is the whole of this plinth's character. The frost turns the sheet into one calm, even violet with no glare, so the block reads as a single mass of colour, while the edges, where the sheet is seen end on, gather into a deeper magenta and draw a crisp outline round each face. Being nearly a cube, it stands squarely wherever it is put, and its closed top holds a piece level. Violet sets off pale stone, white porcelain, brass and gold, and it brings a cool note into a warm room.
At 53cm it brings a piece up to just over chair-seat height, so it suits a bedroom, a living room, a boutique or a showroom. Against a pale grey or white wall the violet reads clearly, and on a dark floor it seems to glow. Light from above falls softly across its top and down its faces. A row of them makes a striking band of colour along a wall.
Ordinarily a standard piece needs 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. Other tints of frosted sheet can be had to order, from a pale lilac to a deep plum, and its height can be set to suit the piece it is to carry. Violet gives a cool ground under warm pieces and a rich one under pale ones. It is lifted straight up by its foot, with a hand flat beneath each side, and set down without being slid across the floor. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A frosted violet block outlined at every edge in deep magenta stands among our acrylic sculptures, our art furniture and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
