Description

A child angel stands with her hands folded in prayer against her chest and her head bowed, small wings folded close behind her. A long gown falls in straight folds to the ground, and the figure stands on a plain square base slab.

Child Angel With Her Hands Folded

Small figures are harder than large ones, because every tool mark is the same size while the figure is not, and at this height the folded hands are barely wider than the chisel that cuts them. They are worked last, with the gown finished and supporting the arms. The stone is a white marble with grey veining running down through the gown, and the veins are read before carving so none of them crosses the face.

At this height the piece suits a child grave, a cremation plot, a small lawn section or a bed of remembrance, and it can stand indoors as easily as out. It is small enough to be moved by two people, so it works where a fixed monument would not be permitted. Ask the burial ground what it allows on a small figure before you order.

A Small Figure on a Small Plot

Six weeks. The gown is finished before the arms are freed, because the folded hands have nothing else supporting them and would not survive the work around them otherwise. The wings are cut close to the back so nothing projects. There is no tablet on this piece, so wording goes onto the base slab, worked to order, or the slab is left plain. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops. Around 318kg, movable by two people onto a level bed.

Production Time

Every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.

  • Sculptures under 50cm — shipped by air freight. Typical delivery 1–2 weeks after production is complete.
  • Sculptures 50cm and above — shipped by sea freight. Typical delivery 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
