A ribbon curling up from a single point and hooking over at the top, with a second and slighter hook thrown out low on the opposite side. Pink at the top runs through clear and green into amber at the foot, so the piece changes colour four times from end to end. Black marble is included, and the ribbon rises off it at a single point.
Graduating a body through four colours is far harder than through two: each pair has to arrive at the next without muddying, and there are three such arrivals rather than one. The colour runs along the ribbon rather than up the piece, so the hook near the foot is amber and the one at the top is pink, and the eye follows the material instead of the height. Four colours through one ribbon means three meetings, and the body has to carry each of them without a line showing across it. Polished over the whole surface, which is what lets one colour become the next without a seam showing.
A writing desk, a narrow console or a bookshelf, where the whole run of colour is seen at once. A pale ground behind it. Anything coloured behind this one fights with it and loses. Daylight keeps the four colours apart; a warm bulb drags all of them toward the amber end. The colour stops anybody from across a room, and the two hooked tips are what hold them once they are near.
Reckon on 3–4 weeks for a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks for a bespoke one. The run is cut to two colours, the hooks are drawn further over, and white stone replaces the black. Draw the hooks further over and the colour run gets longer, because the graduation follows the ribbon rather than the height. Stone and ribbon share a box, the stone underneath, and the pair meet for the first time on the desk they are going on. One person, taken around the body and not by either hook. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Four colours meeting along one hooked ribbon lead to our organic sculptures; the pink-to-amber run belongs with our resin sculptures, and more for a bright interior waits in our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
