A flamingo standing on one long curve: the neck comes up from the body, bends over at the top and brings the head back down and forward, and the beak is tipped in black. The body is a pale translucent pink with the feathers cut in relief over the back and the folded wing, and it stands on two thin dark steel legs that rise from a shaped resin foot. It stands tall on very little floor.
The legs carry everything and they are the one part that is not resin. Two rods of that diameter would bend under a resin body if they were cast, so they are steel, and the body is drilled to receive them at the angle the bird actually stands at rather than vertically - a flamingo's legs splay slightly, and a bird set on two plumb rods looks stuffed. The neck is the other exacting passage. It is one long S with the head at the end of it, all of it cantilevered forward of the body, so the neck is drawn down steadily from the shoulder to the skull and the beak is the lightest thing on the bird.
A tall bird on a small footprint suits places where floor is short: beside a chair, in an alcove, on a stair landing, in a bathroom or a conservatory. It wants a plain background, because the outline is the whole shape and a patterned wall eats it. Light from the side or behind puts the pink through the body and leaves the steel legs as two dark lines; a front light makes the colour chalky. Set it where the beak is not at eye level for a child.
Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. The body is made in this pale pink, in a deeper rose, in an amber or colourless, and the beak tip is black as here or left in the body colour. The neck is set at order, from this full curve to a raised, alert head, and it can be made standing on one leg to pair with this one. The legs come in this dark steel, in mirror steel or in brass. Heights run up to life size. It arrives in one crate with the legs packed apart and pressed home on site; carry the bird by the body. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Flamingos on steel legs are waded into animal sculpture, stilted through metal sculpture, and brought up to date in modern sculpture.

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
