Deep petrol teal, so dark at the root that it is almost ink, fills this wave as it swings up from its black marble footing. At the bottom the water churns in a dense, turbulent mass, its lip rolling outward on one flank while drops push up through it; above, the water sweeps away in a long arc, reverses across the middle in a ridged ribbon carrying a single upright bead, and rears up at its other end into a crest of jets. The teal lightens as it climbs, to a clear blue-green along the ribbon, and the jets of the crest, each capped with a round bead, are clear.
A dark teal gives the wave weight. Where the resin is gathered at the root its colour is nearly black-green, and as the water spreads it lifts through deep sea teal to a cool blue-green before vanishing in the crest. That steady climb from dark to light is what makes the form read as a breaking wave rather than a solid shape. Grooves running along each bend catch thin lines of light against the dark colour, the beads sit proud of the ridges, and the cast resin is polished to a deep shine all over.
Strong colour needs a calm setting: a pale plaster wall, a white oak sideboard, a reception desk in a light-filled office, or a console in a hall painted soft grey. Reaching 75cm on its base, it is well placed on a reception desk, where the clear crown rises to meet visitors as they come in. Daylight from behind or from one flank catches the teal at its edges and keeps the root from looking flat. Indoor use only.
Ordinarily a standard piece needs 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. The price brings you one teal wave and the marble it rests on, and it is sold individually. Made bespoke, its teal can be taken darker still or eased towards a brighter sea colour, the ink-dark zone near the marble spread higher or kept tight, and the jets of the crest lengthened or drawn closer; a different stone can be cut for the base. Boxed upright in deep padding, its crest wrapped jet by jet and the base packed on its own, it simply sits on the base once unpacked. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Petrol teal darkening almost to ink at the root and clearing into a crown of jets belongs among our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
