Payhembury Bronze Shell Dish - 133cm, a fibreglass shell-form bowl with swirled bronze finish, shown with iridescent spheres on a plain light grey background.
Payhembury Bronze Shell Dish - 133cm $9,46500
Description

Payhembury is a smooth fibreglass dish in bronze with a rippled silver interior, a broad shell-form dish scattered with smooth, rounded spheres. It runs around 133cm across.

A Broad Shell Dish

Each is cast by hand in fibreglass and finished in bronze, the broad shell dish scattered with smooth, rounded spheres. It has real presence at a fraction of the weight.

Its low, flowing shape suits a large open room, an atrium or a gallery-style space where it can hold its own at scale. The metallic finish lifts both modern and classic rooms. This piece is finished for indoor display.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

We build Payhembury to order rather than to stock. Every piece is handmade to order, with a standard lead time of around 3–4 weeks, or 5–6 weeks for bespoke commissions.

Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops. Ask for it in matte black, antique gold or stone grey instead, or at a different scale. The fibreglass is cast by hand in our own workshops, start to finish. Send a photograph of the space and we will come back with a recommendation.

Beyond Payhembury, discover more of our organic sculptures and our contemporary sculpture collection.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.

Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
