Pale Teal Crescent Curl Wave & Copper-Tone Leaves Resin Sculpture, 104cm, curling teal wave with copper leaves on wires, black base, plain white background.
Pale Teal Crescent Curl Wave & Copper-Tone Leaves Resin Sculpture - 104cm $2,02600
Description

Tinted a pale, watery teal blue, this wave climbs tall on one side of its block and curls back over the top into a crest of fingers, while a lesser curl rises from the foot on the far side, so the water forms a crescent open to one side. Within the curve, and drifting out past its open side, a cloud of copper-toned leaves hangs on fine silver wires that loop between the two crests. The fingertips clear almost to colourless, and the wave stands on a black marble block.

Copper Leaves Drifting Inside a Pale Teal Crescent

The piece sets warm metal against cool water. The resin is a light, clear teal, fullest in the base of the crescent and thinning up the climbing side until the fingers of both crests are nearly colourless, with a polished surface that keeps the whole curve bright. The leaves are slender and pointed and finished in a copper tone with a rosy warmth, and they ride silver wires that loop through the opening in several directions, so some sit close to the water and others drift out beyond it. Because the wires are pale they almost vanish, leaving the copper to float in the space the wave encloses.

Measuring 104cm from block to crest, it suits a hall console or a broad sideboard, where the cloud of leaves floats near the eye and the crescent can be taken in at an angle. The wave overhangs its block on both sides and the leaves drift out past the opening, so give it space all round. Against a white or warm grey wall the copper glows, and lamplight in the evening warms it further while the teal stays cool.

Copper Tone, Leaf Cloud and Shipping

Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. The wave, its copper-toned leaves and the black marble beneath it come as one order, sold individually. To commission, the teal can be made deeper or paler, the leaves finished in a gold or silver tone instead, and the cloud thickened or thinned out; plain water with no leaves is possible too. The wave travels upright in a crate, its leaves individually sleeved and the wires supported, with the block boxed alongside it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Copper-toned leaves drifting on silver wires inside a pale teal crescent carry this wave into our metal sculptures, our resin sculptures and our organic sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
