A cradle that sweeps up from a low belly to two raised ends, each curling inward at its tip, and the two ends are treated differently: one runs to a near-black and the other to a deep brick red. The body between them is a pale teal, transparent enough that the far side of the sweep is visible through the near one. There is no stand in the price, and the cradle rests along the low point of its own sweep.
Treating the two ends of a near-symmetric form differently is a way of giving it a front without changing its shape. The two horns differ only a little, one hooking over at its lip and the other broader, so what really tells them apart is colour, and two different colours do it far more firmly than two depths of one. Black and red are chosen because they sit on opposite sides of the teal body: the black reads as the teal taken to its limit and the red as something else entirely. The pale body between is what makes both legible. In a deeper tint the black end would close up and the whole gradient would happen in the last few centimetres.
A desk or a shelf takes it, and at this size it is handled as much as looked at, which is the point of it. Set it with a source behind rather than in front, so the body stays clear and the two ends stay dense. A pale surface underneath carries the teal further than a dark one. One black tip and one red means the two ends can never be confused, and the cradle has a direction that a single tint would not give it.
Time separates the two: a bespoke commission takes 5–6 weeks, a standard piece 3–4. The black tip is exchanged for a second red one, and the teal is deepened through the belly. It is repeated at other sizes, and the two coloured tips are drawn to the proportion rather than a fixed length. The body can also be tinted in another colour altogether, such as green, amber or a saturated turquoise, with tips chosen to suit it. It goes into one box packed beneath the belly, and it should be lifted out by the body rather than by either tip. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A cradle with two coloured ends is organic sculpture; the teal runs through resin sculpture; and a piece handled as much as looked at is indoor sculpture.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
