Pale Reef is a handmade coral sculpture standing 90cm tall, an openwork form in soft white and cream that draws on the branching structure of a sea fan. Fine acrylic filaments are set within the fibreglass body to create a delicate, see-through mass that catches the light. At this height it works as a floor-standing or low-plinth feature piece.
The piece is composed of fanning, branch-like fronds that open outward from a central base, leaving airy gaps that let light pass through the form. Combining moulded fibreglass with fine acrylic threads gives the surface a layered, almost lace-like quality, while the pale white and cream palette keeps the overall effect calm and sculptural rather than decorative. It reads as a meeting point between a coral study and an abstract botanical form.
It suits contemporary living rooms, entrance halls, gallery corners and coastal or biophilic interiors, and pairs naturally with neutral, stone and timber surroundings. This piece is finished for indoor display only.
Every piece is handmade to order, with a standard lead time of around 3–4 weeks, or 5–6 weeks for bespoke commissions. Pale Reef is made to order in our own workshops, one piece at a time.
Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops. The fibreglass is cast by hand, so each piece carries small differences of its own. Colourways such as crisp white, warm beige or pale stone suit this shape equally well. If you are matching an existing scheme, we can work to a sample.
