A column swelling through the body and drawing in toward the top, where it turns over into a hood, with the hem spreading out at the foot. Pale green clouds through white, deepest along the two edges where the body turns away. A black block is supplied, and the hem spreads out to meet it.
Take the detail away entirely and what is left is proportion, which is difficult to get right and very easy to see wrong. There is no detail on it anywhere, which means the whole piece is carried by one outline, and an outline is the one thing that cannot be adjusted once it is out of the mould. With no detail anywhere on it the casting has to be perfect over its whole surface, because a flaw would have nothing to hide behind. Polished to an even sheen, with no texture on it at all.
A landing, a hall or the corner of a bedroom, somewhere it is met rather than presented. A quiet ground. It asks less of what is behind it than most and rewards a plain wall. Soft light suits it; a hard source finds the one bright line down the body and nothing else. It reads as a standing figure from the door and resolves into nothing in particular close to, which is the whole idea.
Every standard piece is made in 3–4 weeks, and every bespoke commission in 5–6. The hook at the top is drawn further over, the green is exchanged for grey, and the hem is opened wider. Draw the hook further over and the hem is widened to carry it, because the lean is taken at the foot. It comes out of the crate upright and is carried to its corner in one move, with the block set down ahead of it. One person, hands at waist height on the body, and the hook at the top takes no weight. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A smooth hooded column clouded in pale green belongs to our organic sculptures; the clouded casting sits with our resin sculptures, and a quiet bedroom corner suits it among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
