This dining chair is a single moulded shell in pale blue acrylic. The back narrows to a waist and then opens into two broad wings, the seat below it is dished with its front edge rolled under, and the blue deepens as it comes down, so the strongest colour sits along the seat's edge. Fine raised droplets fleck the whole surface, and four dark metal legs splay outward from beneath the seat.
A tint that deepens toward one edge comes from the shape rather than from the mix, because the shell is one blue throughout: the material is thickest at the rolled seat edge and holds the most colour there, while the wings, drawn thinner, let it fade. Getting that gradient even from side to side means the moulding has to thin both wings by the same amount, so each shell is checked against a pattern before it is finished. The droplet texture is kept fine enough that the blue reads as clear water rather than frosted glass.
At 82cm the wings sit well above the table, so a run of them reads as a row of blue silhouettes along one side. Pale blue suits a white kitchen, a garden room or a breakfast area facing north, where it adds colour without warming the room. The translucent shell picks up the floor beneath it, and over pale boards the blue reads at its lightest. Keep a deep rug out from under the legs.
Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. The blue can be taken deeper, kept paler, or run evenly from wing to seat, and the legs can be had in chrome or brass instead of black. Seat height is set to the table it will serve. The chair is priced and sold singly, and any number can be ordered together. It arrives with its legs already on and one person can lift it easily; several travel in one crate, each shell sleeved so the wing tips do not touch. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A blue that gathers along the rolled seat edge belongs with our acrylic sculptures; a waisted back opening into broad wings leads to our art furniture, and a cool chair for a north-facing kitchen joins our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
