Pale Blue Looping Arm Splash Cast Resin Sculpture, 72cm, with a curved base rising into a pierced loop and slender points, on a plain white background.
Pale Blue Looping Arm Splash Cast Resin Sculpture - 72cm $2,36300
Description

Pale blue from its rippled foot to the tips of its points, this splash is tinted evenly right through, like shallow water over white sand. One arm sweeps up from the foot in a broad curve, levels out into a band pierced by two oval openings, then climbs into an upright hoop. A tall, slender finger rises straight up from the hoop's near shoulder and a short horn from its far one. Below the band a crown of pointed spray lifts from the foot, and a low spray reaches out sideways to end in three tines.

Pale Blue Held Evenly From Foot to Finger

Cast resin holds the tint evenly through the whole splash, so no part reads heavier in colour than another, and the blue only looks a shade deeper in the broad foot and along the band. That evenness leaves the shapes to do the work. The two oval openings in the band and the upright hoop above them frame whatever stands behind in pale blue, and the lattice of narrow arches between crown and band, pierced with small round holes, reads like foam caught as it breaks. The surfaces are glossy throughout, with soft ripples left in the foot and smooth, rounded ends on every point.

Rising 72cm from its own foot, with no base beneath it, the splash sits comfortably on a long sideboard in a living room or on a console at the end of a hall. Set against plain white plaster, the blue stays soft and the hoop and the oval openings read as clean shapes, while a window to one side picks out the gloss on every curve. In a room of white, grey or sea tones it settles easily; beside warm timber it looks cool and fresh. It is made for use indoors.

Tint Depth, an Open Hoop and Shipping

Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. The blue can be made paler still, almost a whisper of colour, or taken a little deeper while staying translucent, and the hoop can be left open at the top so the arm stops just short of joining. Its proportions can be scaled to order. It travels in a single fitted case, the hoop and the tall finger wrapped and braced so nothing presses on them; whoever unpacks it should hold it by the foot and nowhere else. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A pale blue splash whose arm climbs from its foot into an upright hoop is gathered with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
