A sky-blue arched upright, the fin flung out halfway up and the whole form carried on a single splayed foot. The blue is light and even, closer to sky than to sea, and the resin stays clear enough to see the curves behind one another. Beneath it is a little block of black marble, included with the piece.
Pale blue lets the arch keep its transparency while giving it a colour, so the turns of the body can be seen behind one another and the fin reads as a lighter plane in front. With no grading and no marbling, the piece depends on its outline, and the outline is the arch turning over and the fin cutting across it. The block keeps the eye on the form. Every surface is polished to a clear gloss. In a white room it reads as a cool, airy note. Nothing interrupts the colour.
A long sideboard or a deep sill suits it, angled so the fin points out into the space. It works in a bright room: white walls, pale floors, a window nearby. The pale blue deepens where the body overlaps itself, and daylight brings out that layering best. Against dark paint the colour fades out.
Give it 3–4 weeks as a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks as a bespoke commission. The blue can be mixed deeper or given a grey cast, and the black under it can become white marble. The fin can be set at a different angle before casting, to point where it will be seen. The marbled original and three other colourways of this arch are sold as their own pieces. Packed with its block, it can be lifted by one person, a hand under the foot. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Light, airy colour like this pale blue runs through our resin sculptures, and more arched and finned forms are collected in our organic sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
