Orange Twin Leaf Flame Resin Sculpture, 162cm, amber-to-cream flame-shaped leaves on a black plate atop a tall black pedestal, plain white background.
Orange Twin Leaf Flame Resin Sculpture - 162cm $2,69900
Description

Two leaves rise together from a common foot, the amber heaviest where they meet and gone by the time they part. Amber through both leaves, deepest where they meet at the foot and clearing to almost nothing at the tips. Two supports come with it: a thin black plate under the flame, and a tall black stone beneath the plate.

One Flame Read as Two Leaves

The two leaves are drawn as one movement that happens to divide, not as a pair set side by side, and the colour is what proves it: the amber gives out at the same height in both, which would not happen if they had been drawn separately and brought together afterwards. A tinted body that gives its colour up at the same height in both leaves is what makes a flame of two parts read as one, and the tips are left clear. Polished over both leaves, with the meeting between them left as cast.

Floor work for an entrance, standing on its tall stone. Give it a pale ground: the amber gathers at the foot and wants somewhere quiet to end. Light from one side low down; the amber carries it up and the tips return almost nothing. The pair of leaves carries; where the amber gives out is a near fact.

The Tall Stone, and What Arrives With It

Time separates the two: a bespoke commission takes 5–6 weeks, a standard piece 3–4. On request the leaves are drawn at another height, another tone is run through them, or a different stone goes beneath. Another stone can be cut to set it at a different height, and the flame is cast the same whatever stands beneath it. It travels as two crates on one pallet, the stone in one and the flame and plate in the other. Two people and a trolley for the stone, and one pair of hands for the flame. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A flame drawn as two leaves rising together belongs to our organic sculptures; the amber clearing toward the tips joins our resin sculptures, and an entrance, on its tall stone, is where it belongs in our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
