Orange Translucent Lettered Cube Resin Sculpture - 12cm
Orange Translucent Lettered Cube Resin Sculpture - 12cm $1,41600
Description

This cube of resin is tinted a deep, glowing orange and stays translucent, so it shines like a block of amber wherever the light catches it. Dark lettering is cast inside, and since the resin is see-through, the letters can also be glimpsed back to front from the side faces. Small dark fragments and a fine scatter of specks float around it at different depths, and the faces are polished flat, with crisp edges and corners.

Dark Lettering Inside a Glowing Orange Cube

Imported resin forms the cube, tinted orange through its whole depth, and its six faces are polished to a glassy finish that mirrors the room. The orange reads richest towards the centre and brightest along the edges and corners. The lettering is dark and sharp-edged, while the fragments around it are ragged little chips, with fine specks scattered between them. Turned in the hand, the cube shows the lettering from new angles as the faces reflect and repeat it. No two cubes scatter their fragments in quite the same way.

At 12cm it is sized for a desk or a bookshelf, and small enough to hold in one hand. A sunny windowsill suits it especially well, where daylight makes the orange glow like a lantern, and a white or pale surface beneath it keeps the colour bright. Grouped with books or ceramics in warm tones, it adds a vivid note to a room. Indoor use only.

Lettering, Colour and Delivery for the Cube

Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. One cube is supplied for each order, sold individually. On commission the lettering can be changed to your own wording, the resin can be tinted another colour or left clear, and the cube can be made at another size. The fragments can be left out for a cleaner look, or gathered more thickly around the letters. Foam-wrapped and boxed, it can go on show the moment it is unpacked. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Dark lettering and scattered fragments held in a glowing orange cube of resin bring warmth to our resin sculptures, our abstract sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
