The Orange Head II Colorblock Monkey Figure stands 35cm tall — a compact, vivid pop-art piece built around a colourblock palette of orange, blue, cream, red, and black. The figure is unmistakably playful: a bright orange head with oversized round ears, a wide cartoon grin, and mismatched limbs in contrasting block colours that give the sculpture its name. Each section of the body reads as its own flat colour panel, creating a graphic, almost toy-like silhouette that sits squarely in the contemporary collectible-art tradition. At 35cm, this is a shelf, console, and desk-scale statement piece designed to inject character into a curated interior.
The Colorblock Monkey sculpture is cast in premium resin from a hand-finished master, producing the crisp edges and clean panel transitions the colourblock design demands. Each colour zone — orange head, cream torso, blue and red limbs, black accents — is finished by hand with high-pigment automotive-grade lacquer, then polished to a smooth, even sheen that holds the saturation of every block without bleed at the seams. The oversized ears, the rounded muzzle, the toothy grin, and the deliberately mismatched arms and legs are all sculpted as distinct forms before being unified under the colour treatment. The result is a designer pop art sculpture with the graphic punch of a vinyl collectible scaled up to genuine interior-decor proportions and finished to gallery standard.
At 35cm, this piece works beautifully on a styled bookshelf, a console table in an entrance hallway, a media unit in a colour-forward living room, a creative-studio desk, a children's gallery wall shelf, or a retail and hospitality vignette. The palette pairs naturally with white walls, pale oak, concrete, and other pop-art collectibles. Indoor display only.
Every figure is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce. Production takes approximately 3–4 weeks for a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops supporting production at scale.
Customisation is offered across the full range. Alternative sizes, custom colourways, metallic or electroplated finishes, or a fully bespoke colourblock character designed from a brief or reference can all be arranged. Contact us before ordering to discuss bespoke requirements.
