This bench is a single beam of frosted resin with no leg, no frame and no visible join anywhere on it: the seat is also the structure, and it rests straight on the floor. Seen from above, the beam follows a long, shallow arc. The colour travels along its length, milky white at one end, warming through yellow to a deep amber at the other.
Colour and curve run together along the length. The colour graduates end to end with no step anywhere in it, and the beam bends with it in one even arc, so a person sitting at the pale end looks along the curve towards the amber. The section is a soft rectangle with every corner rounded, and the surface is frosted rather than polished, which is what lets the graduation read as a continuous wash instead of a set of reflections. The tint runs through the resin itself rather than lying on its surface, and the frosting softens every edge of the change from one colour to the next.
The seat is low, for sitting to change shoes or to wait rather than to dine, and the length takes three or four people side by side. Its natural places are an entrance hall, a showroom, a broad landing or the edge of a pool room, and it is best met from the front, where the whole graduation reads at once. The curve lets it follow a bay or a rounded wall, or stand free with its hollow side turned towards a room. It is very heavy, and once placed it stays. Indoor use only.
It takes 3–4 weeks to make as standard, and 5–6 weeks to make bespoke. A bench with no leg puts every requirement on the floor, and that is the trade for the look. With nothing to adjust beneath it, it needs a floor that is level along its whole length; on boards that have moved or on uneven flagstones it will bear on the high spots. A level floor is worth checking with a level rather than by eye before the delivery. It also cannot be moved by one person or slid, so its position is decided before it is set down. Length and curve are made to order, the graduation can run between other colours, blue to white or grey to black among them, and it can be reversed end for end at order, which matters where window light falls from one side only. It arrives on a purpose-built pallet and is a four-person placement. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A frosted beam shading from white to amber is one of the benches in our art furniture; its flowing curve suits our organic sculptures, and its tinted resin our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
