Orange & Red Curling Petal Resin Sculpture, 60cm, with three amber-to-red petals rising from a white marble base, set against a plain light background.
Orange & Red Curling Petal Resin Sculpture - 60cm $2,09200
Description

Three petals rising together from a single foot and curling over at their tips, each one turned a little away from the others so that none is hidden. Amber above and red at the foot, with the change running up through all three petals together. White marble comes with it, cut as a low block under the foot.

Three Petals From One Foot

Three is the fewest that reads as a group rather than as a pair with a spare, and they are turned away from one another so that the piece has no front. The foot where they meet is the thickest part of the casting. The mass is what sorts the two tones: the red gathers where the three petals meet and the amber clears where they open out, with nothing applied to either. Polished on every petal inside and out, and the curled tips are taken to the same grade.

It suits a desk or a night stand, turned so the tips curl toward the room. Set it against a pale wall: the red at the foot is the darkest thing on the piece and has to read that way. Light from behind runs up all three petals at once; from in front it gives back a flat amber. The curl of the tips reads from across a room and the graduation is a near fact.

Drawing the Petals Apart, and a Single Movement

Most pieces are standard and take 3–4 weeks; a bespoke commission takes 5–6. The petals can be drawn further apart, either tone can be exchanged, and the marble can be cut to another plan. Draw the petals further apart and the foot is widened beneath them, since what holds three petals up is where they meet. One crate holds both, and the piece is set down in a single movement. Hands under the marble and one person, and the tips are not where to take hold of it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Three petals curling over from one foot belong to our organic sculptures; the red gathered where they meet joins our resin sculptures, and a surface where the tips curl toward you sets it among our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
