A deep hull with a range of peaks rising along almost its whole upper edge, the two parts drawn as one continuous form and sitting on the hull's own keel. Orange fills the hull, glossy except for a combed strip of wavering grooves down the middle of its face, and the peaks above it are a frosted pale olive, smoky at the twin summits, so the two halves of the piece share no colour at all. Nothing comes under it. The hull is the foot.
Giving one form two finishes asks the join between them to read as a decision and not as an accident. That join runs the full length of the piece as an almost straight line on a form with no other straight line in it, which is what makes it read as a horizon. Below it the hull is polished to a gloss, with a band of fine, wavering vertical lines combed across the middle of its face like the grain of weathered bark; above it the peaks are left frosted and uncut, smoky grey at the twin summits and olive down the slopes.
A sideboard or a console table, where the summits come up close to the eye of anyone passing. A plain wall, because the skyline of the peaks is the shape and it needs an empty sky. Light from behind puts the peaks in silhouette, with the orange hull a band of colour beneath them. The orange carries across a room and the peaks resolve into separate summits as you come to it.
Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. The peaks are drawn higher, the orange is taken toward red, and the combing is left off the hull. Raise the peaks and the hull is deepened under them, since the whole thing balances on a narrow keel. A single crate and a single piece, bedded along the keel so the peaks travel clear of everything, and it goes straight down on any flat surface. It is taken under the keel with both hands, never by the peaks. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Frosted olive peaks rising out of a glossy orange hull lead on to our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
