Orange & Clear Low Wide Splash Cast Resin Sculpture, 68cm, wave-like form transitioning from fiery orange base to clear tips, on a plain white background.
Orange & Clear Low Wide Splash Cast Resin Sculpture - 68cm $2,70100
Description

Fiery orange burns along the bottom of this resin splash, turns to a sunny yellow as the body climbs and clears completely at the tips, so the piece looks like flame breaking into spray. At one end a heaped cluster, pierced by two big ovals and a little round hole, throws a long arm up across the opening to a forked point; opposite stands a tall plume beside a slender finger, with short fingers standing in the low middle.

Orange Fire Turning Yellow, Then Clear

The colour changes three times on the way up, with no boundary at any point. Down in the hollow it is a saturated orange, close to red in the deepest folds; through the body it brightens to yellow, like the heart of a candle flame; and every finger, the reaching arm and the plume's crest are colourless, carrying only highlights. Because the warm colours sit low and the clear resin sits high, the piece has a settled weight at the bottom and an airy top.

Wide and low, it is at its best on a walnut sideboard or a writing desk in a study, at a height that lets you look down across the fingers. The warm colours suit rooms of oak, terracotta and cream, and they glow under a lamp in the evening, while the clear tips stand out best against a plain, dark wall. Give it free space along its length. Indoor use only.

Warmth of the Colour, the Arm and Delivery

Where the piece is standard the build is 3–4 weeks, and where it is bespoke 5–6. You are buying one splash, sold individually. As a commission the orange can be pushed deeper towards red, or the yellow given more of the body; the colour can stop part way up for more clear resin above, and the arm can reach further or stop short. Delivery is in a padded crate with each point wrapped, and the splash is lifted out from below by its solid hollow. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Orange flame turning to yellow and then to clear spray brings this splash among our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
