Navy Graded Long Mountain Range Resin Sculpture, 97cm, with a navy base clearing to pale, nearly colourless peaks, flat-resting foot, on a plain light grey background.
Navy Graded Long Mountain Range Resin Sculpture - 97cm $2,69900
Description

A long mountain range in resin, a deep navy along the foot that clears upward through every peak until the summits are almost colourless. Its main peak is set left of centre with a second beside it, and lesser peaks run out to the right. Nothing is supplied beneath it; the navy foot rests flat.

Deep Navy Under Clear Summits

Dark blue along the foot gives a long range a base line as definite as a horizon, and above it the colour lifts away so that the summits stand clear against the room. The change is gradual, with no band where one colour stops, so the range reads like mountains rising out of evening shadow. In the folds the navy runs deeper than on the ridges, which draws every fold in a darker stroke, and the polished faces keep the clear summits sharp at the top.

It needs a long surface and a pale or neutral wall behind it, against which the navy foot reads as a strong dark line and the clear summits keep their shape. A console in a hall, a long sideboard or a broad shelf suits it, and daylight from one side deepens the colour in the folds of the range.

How Far the Navy Climbs, and Getting It There

Give it 3–4 weeks as a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks as a bespoke commission. The navy can climb higher or stay at the very foot, teal, green or grey can replace it, and the ridge is cast at other lengths. Gold at the summits is possible for a little warmth, and the whole surface can be frosted so the navy becomes a soft, misty band. It is packed in a long crate with the foot braced and each summit in foam, and two people carry it out level. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A long range rising from navy into clear belongs with our organic sculptures; a dark foot under water-white summits sets it in our resin sculptures, and a firm horizon line on a pale wall suits our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
