This is a cast resin and upholstered armchair. The shell is a single clear resin form, a tub with the arms wrapped forward and a continuous rail running round the foot, and the material reads warm rose through the depth of the back and the arms while the front stays colourless. A navy upholstered seat and a navy back cushion sit inside it.
The shell is one moulding, back, arms, seat and foot rail together, and no joint shows anywhere along it. The warm cast is a property of the section: the material is deepest through the back and the arms, and it opens to colourless where the front thins, so the colour and the form are the same decision. The rail is worked round under the whole chair rather than stopping at the front, and the cushions are built to the finished shell rather than to a drawing, so they sit without a gap behind the back.
With its wide seat and wrapped arms, it is made for lounging rather than for a dining table, and it is at home in a living room, a hotel lounge, a study or a wide landing. The foot rail runs all round, so it sits solidly on a soft floor, and the warm cast in the back reads best with light coming through it from behind.
Most pieces are standard and take 3–4 weeks; a bespoke commission takes 5–6. The wrapped arm is what fills the time. Three aspects can be specified. A different tint can be run through the resin, or the piece built with none at all; the cushions are made up in a fabric you supply; and the tub can be drawn out at the front to sit deeper. Seat height and back height are settled at order. Matching the warmth of the rose through the back across pieces means ordering them as one. The packing is designed round the wrapped arms and the foot rail; allow four people on arrival. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear tub that wraps forward into its own foot rail, cushioned in navy, belongs with our art furniture; the warm rose in its back also suits our contemporary and modern sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
