Navy and clear divide this cast resin sculpture between them, and the marble under it is black. Two finely ribbed sheets grow from one navy stem: the first swings out to the side in a wide fan whose leading edge curls under in a dark roll, and the second rises behind it with a row of small teeth down one margin, widening at its crown into a tall, flaring cup with a little coil of ribs turned back beside it. Navy marks the stem, that rolled edge and the outer face of the cup; between them the resin is left clear, so the dark parts read like a drawing in ink on glass.
The design is drawn in two tones rather than one. Instead of tinting the whole piece, the navy appears only where the form turns or ends: the stem it grows from, the curled-under edge of the fan and the outer wall of the cup. Everything between is colourless. The effect is of an outline, the dark parts tracing the shape from across a room while the clear sheets show their ribs as fine silver lines that only resolve as you come closer. Where the fan's ribs run down into the stem they close up into a dark diagonal band, and the little coil at the top keeps just a thread of blue along its lower edge.
At 76cm with its marble it sits well on a broad console in an entrance, a boardroom credenza or a gallery plinth, where the navy outline can be read from across the room. It needs a pale ground behind it: against white plaster or a window the clear sheets brighten and the dark lines sharpen, but against a dark wall the clear parts sink away and only the navy remains. Side light is what brings the ribs up.
Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. On commission the balance between the two tones can shift: the navy can be extended over more of each sheet or confined to the stem, and a colour copied from a swatch you send can replace it. The black block can be cut in white marble instead, which sharpens the break beneath the dark stem. To move it, cradle the marble from beneath with one hand and hold the stem upright with the other; the cup, the coil and the toothed edge should never bear any load. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Navy at the stem, along the curled lip and round the cup's rim, with clear resin between, sets this casting among our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
