An acrylic sculpture cut as a faceted block at architectural scale, in something like thirty broad planes with a domed top and a narrow flat foot, its dichroic film throwing a different colour from each plane. Magenta and rose fall down the upper left edge, red and a deep violet-blue cross the right shoulder, amber, aqua and teal meet through the centre, and acid yellow and pale green carry down to the foot, with green and cyan flashes on the upper facets where the film is seen most steeply.
A piece this size is looked at from across a room and then from arm's length, and it has to hold up at both. At distance only the largest planes register: they compose into a silhouette and a handful of colour masses, magenta at one edge, red and violet across the shoulder, yellow low in the centre. Close to, the reading is all edges: where two planes meet, how sharp the arris is, and how the film's colour turns as it crosses from one face to the next, which is where most of the colour changes happen. The narrow foot is the third demand. It has to be small enough that the mass appears to rest rather than to sit, and flat enough that the block stands square on a floor that may not be.
At 150cm it stands about as high as an adult's shoulder, and its upper facets are met almost at eye level. This wants a room with height and space to give it, and it stands on the floor: a double-height hall, a stair well, a wide landing, a gallery wall end, or the space beside a full-height window where daylight crosses it through the day. It needs to be approached from a distance and then walked around, so a position in the open serves it better than an alcove, and it wants clear space on the sides it will be passed on. Daylight is what it is for. Moving light through the day changes which faces return which colour, and a single fixed spotlight gives one arrangement of that and holds it still.
Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. Scale, facet layout and the film are drawn per commission: a version on a grander scale, one cut with fewer and broader planes for a starker read, or a group of three at graded heights are all from this design. The film is chosen at order, this full spectrum or a cooler range in blues and violets alone. A version filmed only on its interior faces is also made, which leaves the outside clear and the colour deep inside the mass. It stands free on its narrow foot with nothing to fix, and it is moved upright, held by its broad faces rather than its edges. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A block at architectural scale is still geometric sculpture; the film across its planes is acrylic sculpture; and a piece that fills the end of a hall belongs in indoor sculpture.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
