Description

A warrior rides at a walk with a spear held upright, long hair streaming behind him. Cloud scrolls gather overhead and a walled town with tiered towers sits away in the distance at the far corner. A plain frame encloses the scene.

Wall Sculpture with Charcoal Veining Through Horse and Rider

Pronounced dark grey and charcoal veining networks run across the field and continue straight through the carved horse, the rider and the cloud scrolls. On a panel like this that is an asset: the veining reads as weather and distance rather than as marking. The town is kept in low relief so it stays back.

A narrative rider panel suits a stair hall, a study, a club room, a martial arts hall or a sheltered loggia. Give it a wall where the eye can travel from the rider across to the distant town, which means clear plaster on the right hand side rather than a return or a door reveal cutting the composition short.

A Distant Walled Town Held in Low Relief

Seven weeks. Pronounced charcoal veining runs across the field and straight through the carved horse, the rider and the cloud scrolls, and the carving has to be planned around it so the veining reads as weather and distance instead of as marking. Proportion is yours; the distant town can be brought forward or held further back. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops. Roughly 455kg, crated flat, on concealed plates.

Production Time

Every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.

  • Sculptures under 50cm — shipped by air freight. Typical delivery 1–2 weeks after production is complete.
  • Sculptures 50cm and above — shipped by sea freight. Typical delivery 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
