The Monumental Thousand-Armed Guanyin Bronze Statue stands at an imposing 300 centimetres, presenting the Bodhisattva of Compassion in her most expansive iconographic form: dozens of arms radiating outward in a symmetrical fan-like halo, eleven stacked heads ascending to a crown, and robes falling in carved folds to a gilded multi-tiered lotus throne base.
This sculpture is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, a process that preserves every carved detail across the figure's extraordinary array of outstretched limbs and facial stacks. Each arm is individually cast and finished, and the surface is brought to a high-polish gilt finish, achieving the luminous gold reflectivity visible across the figure and its lotus pedestal. The result is a monumental gilded bronze statue with a uniform bright appearance that commands attention at any scale of installation.
At 300 centimetres and 800 kilograms, this piece is conceived for large-scale outdoor environments: temple forecourts, meditation gardens, estate grounds, heritage sites, and significant public or private landscaped settings. The gilded surface holds well against the elements when correctly sited, and the lotus base provides a stable, visually grounded foundation appropriate to its monumental height. The warm gold tone works equally well against stone, water features, mature planting, and open sky.
We offer a range of surface finish options beyond the standard gilt, including traditional cold-patinated bronze, verdigris, and dark brown finishes suited to more naturalistic outdoor contexts. The figure can also be produced at alternative heights to suit specific installation requirements. For large-scale architectural or landscape commissions, contact us before ordering so we can discuss foundation specifications, installation logistics, and any structural requirements for a piece at this weight and scale.
