Monumental Modern Geometric Seated Figures Bronze Sculpture, standing 220cm tall and weighing 600kg, presents two abstracted human forms side by side on a shared low platform base. The left figure carries a cubic, square-form head; the right, a triangular pyramidal crown. Both torsos are composed of sharp faceted planes that fragment the body into angular geometry, while broad legs splay outward to anchor the composition with quiet authority.
This piece is cast in solid bronze using the traditional lost-wax method, a technique that preserves every angular edge and planar transition the design demands. The surface carries a dark patinated bronze finish with areas of natural green verdigris forming across the upper planes, a weathered matte character earned through outdoor exposure and entirely authentic to the material. No two castings develop exactly the same oxidation pattern, making each piece genuinely individual. The result is a large abstract bronze sculpture that reads as monumental from a distance and rewards close inspection with its material complexity.
At 220cm and 600kg, this is a commission for significant spaces. Outdoors, it anchors a formal lawn, a courtyard entrance, or a paved civic forecourt with ease; the dark patina holding its presence against open sky and natural greenery. Indoors, it commands a grand atrium, a double-height gallery lobby, or a contemporary institutional interior. The palette of bronze black and verdigris green works with raw concrete, weathered steel, limestone, and dark hardwood equally well.
The patina can be adjusted at commission stage: a warmer mid-tone brown, a cooler verde antiqued finish, or a polished raw bronze are all achievable. Scale modifications are available for site-specific requirements, and the two-figure composition can be revisited as a single figure or as part of a larger multi-figure grouping. The paired geometric form concept is inspired by the work of Lynn Chadwick, and any bespoke interpretation can be discussed directly with our studio team.
