Monumental Modern Abstract Biomorphic Bronze Sculpture by Giant Sculptures, golden-brown patina with interlocking lobes and central void, on dark plinth.
Monumental Modern Abstract Biomorphic Bronze Sculpture - 340cm $92,51800
Description

The Monumental Modern Abstract Biomorphic Bronze Sculpture stands at an imposing 340cm, presenting a self-contained organic form defined by two interlocking curved lobes that pinch inward at the centre to frame a large central void. The result is a continuous, uninterrupted surface that reads simultaneously as solid mass and open space, drawing the eye inward and around in equal measure.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished to a High-Polish Patina

This sculpture is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, in which a hand-modelled wax original is invested in ceramic shell, burned out, and replaced with molten bronze to capture every nuance of the original form. The surface is then hand-finished and dressed to achieve the warm golden-brown patina visible across the curved lobes, with a high-polish reflective finish that catches and redistributes ambient light as conditions change throughout the day. Mounted on a low rectangular granite plinth in dark grey-black, the composition is grounded and architecturally resolved from every viewing angle.

At 340cm, this is a piece conceived for large-scale environments. It suits corporate plazas, hotel forecourts, institutional gardens, and formal landscape settings where a focal anchor of genuine visual weight is required. Indoors, it performs equally well in double-height atria, gallery spaces, or generous entrance halls where the polished surface can interact with controlled lighting. The warm bronze tones read well against both pale stone and dark architectural finishes.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

We offer a full range of patina finishes beyond the standard warm golden-brown, including verde antique, dark statuary brown, and natural weathered oxidation. The scale of this form can also be adjusted for different spatial requirements; a version inspired by the work of Henry Moore in its biomorphic vocabulary can be discussed with our studio team to arrive at proportions suited precisely to your site. Contact us before ordering to discuss your specification in detail.
