The Monumental Leaping Lion Bronze Sculpture stands 320 centimetres tall and commands immediate attention through sheer physical force. Every limb is airborne, the rear haunches thrust high, the front claws splayed downward, the open jaws caught mid-roar: this is a lion at the absolute apex of its predatory momentum.
This sculpture is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting method, which captures the full layered texture of the mane, the tautness of the musculature, and the precise articulation of each claw and tooth. The surface carries a warm golden-brown patina with subtle tonal variation across the body, bringing the anatomy to life under changing light conditions. As a large-scale cast bronze sculpture, the piece weighs 3,000 kilograms and is engineered for permanent, landmark installation.
At this scale, the sculpture is suited to grand exterior settings: civic plazas, corporate forecourts, hotel entrances, private estates, and large-format landscaped grounds. The warm bronze and gold tones read exceptionally well against stone paving, granite surrounds, and formal architectural backdrops. The piece is installed at ground level without a raised plinth, emerging directly from the paved surface for maximum dramatic effect.
We offer a full range of patina finishes including dark verde, aged black, classical brown, and polished bronze highlights. The scale can be adjusted to suit your specific installation requirements. For commissions of this magnitude, we strongly recommend contacting us before ordering so we can discuss site specifications, foundation requirements, and logistics directly.
