The Monumental Heraldic Winged Lion Bronze Sculpture stands at an imposing 350cm, presenting a spread-winged lion in full heraldic bearing: mouth open in a roar, right paw commanding a globe, and great feathered wings raised high behind a richly detailed flowing mane.
This piece is cast using the traditional lost-wax bronze casting method, which captures every strand of the mane and every layered feather of the wing in faithful, permanent detail. The surface carries a bright gold finish applied uniformly across the body, producing high reflectivity on the muscular form while the feather sculpting on the wings retains its dimensional texture beneath the gilded surface. The result is a piece that reads both as refined precious metal and as raw sculptural authority, depending on the light conditions and viewing distance.
At 350cm, this sculpture is calibrated for grand architectural contexts. It sits naturally against stone facades, marble entrance colonnades, formal garden terraces, and civic or commercial exteriors. The gold finish holds equally well in interior atrium settings, positioned against pale limestone, polished concrete, or dark panelled walls. Its stone balustrade plinth is broad and substantial, providing a formal visual base that connects the piece to classical European architectural traditions.
The gold finish shown is our standard specification, but we can apply a range of patina treatments including antique bronze, verdigris, and dark brown oxide finishes to suit your architectural palette. Scale can be adjusted to commission, and we welcome bespoke projects where the globe motif, plinth design, or wing configuration require modification. Contact us before ordering to discuss your requirements.
