The Monumental Classical Saint Anthony and Christ Child Bronze Sculpture stands at an imposing 220cm, presenting the robed Franciscan friar in full classical composure, cradling the Christ Child tenderly in his right arm while his left hand holds a rosary, its cross pendant falling in a clean vertical line against the layered habit.
This large bronze religious statue is produced through the traditional lost-wax casting process, a method that preserves every detail of the sculptor's original model: the fall of the rope belt, the texture of sandalled feet beneath the robes, the delicate features of the child held in the crook of the arm. Each piece is hand-finished to develop a warm reddish-brown patina, uniform in tone with a smooth, refined surface that reads clearly at distance and rewards close inspection equally. As a handcrafted monumental bronze figure, the sculpture carries the quality expected of gallery and ecclesiastical commissions.
At 220cm and 800kg, this is a work scaled for significant architectural settings: cathedral forecourts, chapel interiors, institutional gardens, memorial plazas, or the entrance halls of private estates. The warm bronze patina integrates naturally with stone, marble, and polished concrete, and the upright frontal composition ensures commanding presence on a single axis. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor placement, the bronze will weather gracefully outside with no structural compromise, developing a natural verdigris over time if left unsealed.
Patina options include dark antique brown, verde green, satin black, and natural polished bronze. The sculpture can be produced at alternative heights to suit specific architectural or memorial requirements. For commissions inspired by the work of a particular artist or tradition, or for institutional orders requiring multiple units, contact us before ordering to discuss your brief in full.
