Monumental Classical Armoured Warrior on Rearing Horse Bronze Sculpture - 290cm $157,48200
Description

The Monumental Classical Armoured Warrior on Rearing Horse Bronze Sculpture stands at a commanding 290cm, presenting a fully armoured medieval knight astride a rearing destrier, lance and pennant raised aloft in a charge frozen at its most electric moment.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished to a Dark Antique Patina

Cast using the traditional lost-wax method, this large bronze warrior sculpture is hand-chased and hand-finished at every stage. The surface carries a deep, dark antique bronze tone with green verdigris oxidation settling into the recesses of the chainmail, the horse's leg armour, and the billowing pennant, producing a patina that reads as decades of character earned through outdoor display. The warrior's shield, the buckles of the horse's tack, and the layered plate detailing across both figures are resolved with the kind of precision that only hand-finishing at the point of casting can achieve.

At 290cm and 3,500kg, this is a piece for architectural settings that can absorb genuine scale: a formal entrance courtyard, a landscaped estate approach, a civic plaza, or a grand interior atrium with the structural capacity to receive it. The dark bronze and verdigris palette sits naturally against stone, pale render, dark hardwood, and mature planting. Because bronze weathers consistently and does not corrode in the structural sense, this monumental bronze equestrian statue is equally suited to permanent outdoor installation or a sheltered interior position.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

The standard finish is the dark antique bronze with green oxidation accents shown. Alternative patinas, including a warm mid-tone brown, a polished natural bronze, or a fully verde antique, are available on request. The scale can be adjusted for bespoke commissions, and the composition can be developed further, inspired by the work of historical equestrian sculpture traditions, for clients requiring a fully unique landmark piece. Contact us before ordering to confirm your specification, site requirements, and installation logistics for a piece of this scale and weight.
