The Monumental Breaching Humpback Whale Bronze Sculpture stands 400cm tall, presenting a humpback whale locked in the arc of a full breach: head raised skyward, elongated pectoral fins spread wide, body angled at 45 degrees with the tail end trailing low. At 1,000kg of solid cast bronze, the sheer physical presence of this piece commands any space it occupies.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished with Engraved Detail

This sculpture is produced using the lost-wax casting method, the same process used for monumental bronze work for centuries. Every surface detail is worked by hand after casting: the engraved flowing lines that trace the whale's skin from rostrum to fluke, and the decorative spiral motifs across the upper body and fins, are incised individually by our workshop artisans. The patina transitions from a warm golden-brown across the raised upper surfaces to a deep brown-black in the recessed engraved channels, creating natural contrast that reads at scale. The result is a surface that shifts with light throughout the day.

At 400cm in height, this piece is scaled for substantial exterior settings: coastal estates, waterfront properties, corporate plazas, hotel grounds, or any landscape where a focal work of genuine monumental weight is required. Production Time

Every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.

  • Sculptures under 50cm — shipped by air freight. Typical delivery 1–2 weeks after production is complete.
  • Sculptures 50cm and above — shipped by sea freight. Typical delivery 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
