Mint Green & Clear S-Curve Wave Resin Sculpture, 75cm, on a black marble base with a plain white background.
Mint Green & Clear S-Curve Wave Resin Sculpture - 75cm $1,69800
Description

Cool mint green, with the faint blue of sea foam in it, colours this resin wave above a base of black marble. The root is a cluster of curling water and swelling drops; from it the body bends out to one side, folds back across in a ribbon whose ridge carries a bead on a stem and a scatter of nubs, and climbs once more to a fluted crest. Up there it frays into a fan of upright jets, each finished with a rounded drop, and the mint drains to clear. The colour is deepest in the root and the first bend.

Cool Mint Deepening Into a Curling Root

Mint is a quiet colour, and it suits the gentleness of this curve. The tint is richest where the water is heaped at the root, a cool green with a hint of blue, and it softens through the crossing into a pale, glassy mint before giving way to clear resin at the crest. Long grooves ride every bend and the drops along the ridge are round and glossy, so the whole wave seems wet. Cast in resin and polished all over, it keeps its freshness in daylight and looks softer by lamplight.

Fresh and light, it suits a calm room: a bedroom with pale furniture, a quiet study or a white-painted hall. At 75cm overall it sits neatly on a dresser or a desk, so its fan of jets faces a seated person almost at eye level. Pale woods, white linen and soft greys keep the mint fresh, and daylight from the side sets the beads glittering.

Mint Tint, Fan of Jets and Shipping

In the workshop a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. Each mint wave is sold singly, standing on the marble block that comes with it. As a bespoke piece the mint can be cooled towards aqua or warmed towards spring green, the tint run on into the fan of jets or halted where the ribbon crosses, and the ridge's beads made fuller; the base can be supplied in a stone of your choice. The wave ships in cushioned packing, jets protected and the base wrapped apart, and it goes straight onto its base once unpacked. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Cool mint water curling up from a heaped root and fraying into a fan of clear jets is grouped with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.

Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
