Description

Magenta tints the whole of this petal shell, from the top of the crest to the curl of each arm tip, and it darkens to plum along the lip. Wine-coloured streaks run upward through the lobes like the veins of a petal. In the seat, a few dark green strokes rise from a cluster of violet-blue flecks, so the shell carries a flower inside the flower. Below it, a chrome gas-lift column ringed with a black collar, its lever at the side, stands on a mirror-polished disc.

The magenta is strongest where the resin is thickest, so the shell shades itself: a luminous pink across the thin upper lobes, a richer fuchsia through the seat and a deep plum at the edge. Over that ground the darker streaks follow the folds of the lobes upward, much as veins follow a petal, and they never quite meet. The green is used sparingly, a handful of slim strokes and no more, and the violet flecks at their foot catch the light like small stones. The finish is a high gloss over every surface, inside and out.

A dressing room, a boutique fitting area or a bedroom vanity all suit it, and so does a desk in a room otherwise kept white or grey. With a magenta this strong, one chair is usually enough to colour a whole corner. Its lever adjusts how high the seat sits, and the column swivels, so it suits whoever uses it. Indoors only.

Shade of Magenta, the Green Stems and Delivery

From order, a standard piece runs to 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission to 5–6. The magenta can be ordered softer, closer to rose, or deeper, closer to plum, and the green strokes and violet flecks can be dropped to leave a single colour. The column comes in chrome as standard, or in black or brass, with or without its gas lift. Each part is boxed in a crate of its own, and the two are bolted up on arrival using the hardware supplied. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Fuchsia petal seating is gathered into our art furniture, the chrome lever column into our metal sculptures, and the flower-within-a-flower shell into our organic sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
