A round table in carved acrylic and bronze. The top is acrylic rather than cast resin, machine-carved across its whole upper face into a dense field of shallow irregular ripples, and a plain bronze band wraps its rim so the worked surface is contained. Below it a stainless steel drum finished in bronze carries the top, fluted in narrow vertical bands from its foot to its head and set well in from the edge, so the disc overhangs it generously all round.
The top is acrylic and its pattern is machine-carved, so every ripple has a cut edge rather than a poured one. In practice that shows in two ways. The ripples are shallow and irregular, yet each keeps a crisp arris where it turns, so the top catches a fine hard highlight along every ridge rather than a soft one. And the field runs to a genuine edge rather than fading, which is why the bronze band matters: it stops the carving cleanly and gives the eye a plain line to rest on. The drum below is fluted at a far broader scale than the ripples above, so the two surfaces do not compete, and its bronze finish picks up the rim band across the gap.
Its top sits close to sofa-seat height, which suits it to the end of a seating group or to use as a lamp table. The top is level under the ripples and takes a tray, a lamp or a stack of books. It reads best with a light above it, which sets the whole carved field glinting at once and throws the drum's flutes down onto the floor. Against a dark rug the bronze is the strongest element; against a pale one the acrylic takes over. Indoors only.
Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. The carving is the first choice, from this dense shallow ripple through to a bolder wave that reads from across a room, or a plain polished disc with no working at all. The rim band is second, in bronze as here, in a blackened steel, or left off for a bare carved edge. Third is the drum, which can be this bronze finish, a brushed stainless, a polished one or a matt black, with the flute width set alongside it. Disc diameter and drum height are quoted separately. Top and drum arrive in two crates and bolt together with the key packed with them. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Cut by machine rather than poured, the rippled acrylic top leads to our acrylic sculptures; the table itself sits within our art furniture, and the fluted drum beside our stainless steel sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
