A pierced disc in a pale lavender-grey jade-effect material, open at its centre like a moon window, with fine white branching spreading over the bottom half like frost on a pane. One brass crane is set in the opening and another waits on the brushed brass base below, which comes with it.
Two birds set against a ring are what give it a scale: without them the disc could be any size at all, and with a crane standing in its opening it becomes a pale evening sky and the white branching a stand of winter reeds. The cranes are kept small against the opening so the disc reads as distance rather than as a hoop. The lavender is soft and cool, so the polished brass of the birds and the brushed base read warm against it, and the two clips that hold the ring are worked in the same brass.
At 40cm it is suited to a console or a high shelf, where it is seen square on, since the cranes are cut-outs. A plain wall behind keeps the opening reading as a shape. Side light picks out the white branching, and in a cool room of grey and white the brass birds give a note of warmth.
Standard pieces take 3–4 weeks and bespoke commissions 5–6. The lavender can be taken paler, toward white, or deepened to a dusk purple, and the branching made bolder or removed. One crane can be supplied in place of two, the brass finished in an aged bronze tone, and the disc cast at another diameter. The piece travels in a single box with the cranes wrapped separately and the disc laid face down in a shaped bed, and one person can lift it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A lavender disc in the jade manner belongs with our classic sculptures; brass cranes standing at its foot lead to our metal sculptures, and a pale lavender piece for an entrance console joins our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
