Description

Thirteen figures gather along a single draped table, the coffered ceiling receding behind them in shallow perspective. The panel is hand-carved in white marble and finished with a plain integral frame, so it reads as one piece rather than a picture in a surround.

Wall Sculpture with Thirteen Faces Cut from One Panel

Every head is worked individually, and the drapery is undercut deeply enough that the folds throw their own shadow rather than relying on incised lines. The marble is a uniform bright white with a fine even crystalline grain and no veining through the field, which keeps the figures legible at a distance.

This belongs where people sit down to eat together: a refectory, a monastery dining hall, a seminary, a parish room or a long private dining room. The figures are life-scaled to the table they sit at, so the panel reads correctly from a seated eye level rather than from across a lobby, and it wants a wall behind the head of the table rather than a side wall.

Fixing a Wide Panel Above a Refectory Table

Six weeks of carving, most of it on the thirteen heads, because each face is modelled individually rather than repeated along the table. What can be changed on this panel is the width of the field and the depth of the drapery relief, and the honed surface here can be taken to a soft polish if the room is dark. The trestle table and the coffered ground stay as they are. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops. Half a tonne of stone arrives crated flat on a pallet, and it needs a structural fixing into masonry rather than plasterboard, set out with your engineer.

Every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.

  • Sculptures under 50cm — shipped by air freight. Typical delivery 1–2 weeks after production is complete.
  • Sculptures 50cm and above — shipped by sea freight. Typical delivery 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
