The Large Traditional Naval Anchor Bronze Sculpture stands 200cm tall and weighs 400kg, presenting the classic admiralty-style anchor form in monumental, fully three-dimensional cast bronze. The stock crossbar crowns the vertical shank, the flukes splay downward with maritime authority, and a heavy chain loops and drapes around the lower shaft and base, cast as an integral part of the composition rather than added as a separate element.
This piece is cast using the lost-wax process, which preserves the weight and texture of the original model across every surface. The dark patinated bronze anchor sculpture carries a deliberately aged finish: deep grey-black tones across the shank and flukes, with oxidation accents on the chain links that replicate the rust and corrosion of working maritime hardware. The shackle and ring at the crown of the shank are rendered with the same precision as the broader form. This is not decorative distressing applied after casting; the weathered bronze anchor statue is hand-finished to build up that layered surface character through controlled chemical patination and hand-tooled detailing.
At 200cm and 400kg, this sculpture commands outdoor civic and commercial spaces: harbour-front plazas, waterside developments, hotel forecourts, naval heritage sites, and large private estates with coastal or nautical character. The low rectangular base keeps the silhouette clean and the anchor prominent. The dark patina holds well against stone paving, rendered walls, and planted borders alike.
We offer a full range of patina options beyond the standard dark weathered finish: classic mid-tone brown, verde antique green, polished natural bronze, and custom aged effects. Scale can be adjusted up or down to suit your specific site. For commissions requiring unique proportions, custom base integration, or site-specific installation planning, contact us before ordering and we will scope the project with you directly.
