The Large Traditional Gilded Buddha Head Bronze Sculpture stands at a commanding 150cm, presenting a disembodied sacred head rendered with monumental authority. The face holds a serene, downcast expression; the forehead marked with the urna dot, the crown rising into an elaborate tiered lotus petal formation and a large rounded vessel finial at its apex.
This gilded bronze Buddha head is produced using the lost-wax casting method, a technique that preserves every nuanced surface detail, from the fine ridges of the lotus crown to the smooth planes of the face. The surface has been hand-burnished to a high-reflectivity finish, delivering warm gold tones and a richly luminous quality across the entire form. The result is a monumental bronze head sculpture that reads differently in every light condition, catching morning sun and holding depth in shade.
At 150cm and 500kg, this piece commands significant outdoor space. It suits formal garden settings with structured hedging, courtyard gardens with hard landscaping, and temple-inspired or contemplative garden schemes. The golden patina pairs naturally with dark stone surrounds, clipped topiary, and water features. Its scale demands open sightlines; approached along a path or set as a focal terminus, it performs with quiet authority.
We offer a range of patina options beyond the standard warm gold finish, including classic dark brown bronze, verde antique green, and site-specific weathered treatments suited to coastal or high-humidity environments. Larger bespoke scale commissions are welcomed. If you are considering a commission inspired by the work of traditional Buddhist iconographic sculpture, or require a specific base or plinth configuration, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm full project details.
