Large Traditional Drinking Cowboy Bronze Sculpture by Giant Sculptures, pouring water from a boot into his mouth, mounted on a rocky basin against plain background.
Large Traditional Drinking Cowboy Bronze Sculpture - 190cm $36,10400
Description

The Large Traditional Drinking Cowboy Bronze Sculpture stands at a commanding 190cm, capturing a solitary figure mid-stride in a moment of candid relief, his wide-brimmed hat tipped back to let a stream of water fall into his open mouth. The pose is immediate and human, equal parts rugged and playful, rendered with the weight and stillness of monumental bronze.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

This piece is cast using the traditional lost-wax method, which preserves every nuance of the original sculpted form: the deep folds of the jacket, the fine grain of the kerchief knotted at the throat, the taut line of the raised arm, and the vividly open expression of the face. The surface carries a rich dark brown patina with warm golden highlights burnished onto the raised planes of clothing and skin, a finish that deepens naturally in outdoor conditions over time. A functioning water channel is integrated into the sculpture, routing flow from the brim of the hat into the figure's open mouth, making this both a bronze fountain sculpture and a work of figurative art in one cohesive form.

At 190cm and 250kg, this sculpture commands space. It suits large garden settings, water features, estate grounds, hotel courtyards, and civic or commercial landscapes where scale and character are equally important. The warm bronze tones read well against natural stone, weathered timber, planted borders, and still water. Its narrative clarity and traditional realism give it immediate presence without the need for surrounding context to carry it.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

We offer a range of patina finishes beyond the standard dark brown, including verdigris, mid-century green, and natural aged bronze. Scale variants can be produced to suit your specific installation requirements. If you are considering a custom commission inspired by the work of a figurative sculptor, or need technical specifications for a water feature integration, contact us before ordering so we can advise on plumbing requirements, weight-bearing foundations, and finish options suited to your climate and setting.
