The Large Classical Seated Lion Pair Bronze Sculpture stands 130cm tall and presents two upright guardian lions side by side, each cast with full flowing manes, prominent sculpted claws, and a composed forward-facing authority that commands any approach.
Each lion is produced using the lost-wax casting method, a technique that preserves every layered strand of the mane, every claw detail, and the quiet tension held in the seated pose. The surface carries a dark brown bronze patina with warm reddish-brown highlights rising across the snout, mane ridges, and paw surfaces where the metal catches light. Both figures sit on low rectangular plinths integrated directly into the casting and finished in the same patina, so the pair reads as a single considered composition rather than two separate objects placed together.
At 130cm, these lions occupy entrance halls, colonnaded terranceways, wide staircases, gated driveways, and formal gardens with equal conviction. The dark bronze finish holds well against pale stone, black ironwork, rendered white walls, and mature landscaping. Because the casting carries no fountain plumbing or garden-specific elements, the pair transitions between interior and exterior settings without compromise. Their combined weight of 330kg ensures absolute stability on permanent installations.
Patina options include mid-brown, verde green, black, and natural raw bronze. The pair can be scaled up for monumental gateway installations or reduced for interior console placement. For commissions inspired by the work of classical European heraldic sculptors, we welcome direct consultation. Contact us before ordering to discuss your specification.
