This acrylic sculpture is a faceted gem, cut as one irregular crystal with a dozen or so planes meeting at sharp arrises. It is broad for its height, and the material is dichroic: each plane returns a different colour depending on where you stand, so the same face can read teal from one side of a room and amber from the other, with pink and green appearing along the edges where two planes meet.
Dichroic acrylic carries its colour on one face of the sheet, and on a faceted form that constraint sets the whole build. Every plane has to be cut and assembled with the coated face outward, and because the planes meet at angles rather than at right angles there is no repeated setting to work to - each one is oriented on its own and checked before it is fixed. The arrises are where the work is. Flame is out of the question on a coated sheet, so each one is ground and then taken up through finer and finer grades until it reads as sharp as cut crystal, and there are dozens of them on a form this size. No two of these return colour in the same sequence, because the plane angles are set by hand.
This is a piece that needs people to move past it rather than sit in front of it, so it belongs in a hall, at the turn of a stair, or in the open part of a large room. At 160cm it reads at standing height and does not need a plinth. A pale floor doubles what it does, since the planes throw colour downward as well as returning it. Daylight from two directions is better than one strong source: with a single light most of the planes go dark and only one or two carry colour at a time.
Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. The facet arrangement can be drawn to your own scheme and the piece made to another height on the same proportions. A plain tinted acrylic is available if the colour shift is too active for the room, and a clear version reads as cut crystal instead. It arrives as one piece in a fitted crate with every plane sleeved separately, because the coated faces mark more readily than uncoated acrylic and an arris will not take a rub. Two people are needed and the lift is from beneath the widest plane, not by an arris. Nothing but water should ever meet the coated faces. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
One cut mass returning four colours belongs with our geometric sculptures; planes coated to shift as you move lead to our acrylic sculptures, and a crystal to stand where people pass joins our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
