Pale ice-blue water rises from a deeper blue foot, sweeps up and over and comes back down to meet itself, closing into an oval ring. At the top the crest breaks into spray, a cluster of fingers thrown upward with round droplets at their tips, and small spurs of water flick inward from the inner edge of the ring on both sides. The tint stays light through the ring and the crest, so the oval opening at its centre is framed in glassy, barely coloured resin, with the stronger blue held in the foot.
The colour here is a wash rather than a body of blue. It is pale enough across the ring for the resin to read almost as clear water, with the blue gathering in the thicker folds and along the edges, and it deepens only at the foot, where the ring gathers itself before it rises. Up in the crest the fingers and droplets are close to colourless, so the spray reads as light breaking off the top of the wave. The surface ripples all the way round the ring, and the polish puts a highlight on every ripple, which keeps the outline crisp from any side.
At 85cm it suits a wide sideboard or a chest in a hallway, where the oval opening sits at about chest height for someone standing and the crest near head height. The ring frames whatever lies behind it, so it does best with a window, a doorway or a lit room beyond rather than a blank wall. Raking light draws out the pale blue and every ripple round the ring. Indoor use only.
Most pieces are standard and take 3–4 weeks; a bespoke commission takes 5–6. One ring is supplied, ice blue with a deeper blue foot. On commission the tint can be carried evenly all round the ring or deepened throughout, the crest can carry more fingers or fewer, and the oval can be drawn rounder or longer. Lift it by the foot with both hands, never by the ring or the crest, and set it upright on a firm, level surface. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
An ice-blue ring of water closing on itself beneath a crest of spray is gathered with our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
