Ice Blue Arched Arm Splash Cast Resin Sculpture - 55cm, a pale ice-blue wave form with a forked arching arm and finger-like base, shown on a plain white background.
Ice Blue Arched Arm Splash Cast Resin Sculpture - 55cm $2,15200
Description

A pale ice-blue splash with one broad arm that leaves the rim, climbs, and crosses right over the bowl it started from before rising into a forked spike and a slender loop. The bowl beneath is a ring of short fingers at uneven heights with a web of thin strands across its centre, and a short neck joins the arm to that web near the middle of its run. A second, low arm reaches out the other way and ends in a spray of small points.

One Arm Right Across the Bowl Beneath It

The tint is a pale ice blue, kept light enough that it reads as water and not as paint, and it runs through every part from the foot of the bowl to the point of the spike, a shade stronger in the bowl and lightest across the top. It gathers in the folds and along the rims of the openings, so the edges stay drawn against a pale wall while the broad faces turn almost white. The arm is shaped as a ribbon rather than a rod: wide where it climbs, pierced with long windows where it crosses, then pulled together into a stem with a small round hole at its foot. From that stem the spike rises to a sharp, forked tip and the loop swings out and back.

It is read at the height of the arch, so a surface that puts the opening level with the eye does more for it than a low table. Met from above, the arm flattens onto the bowl and the gap between them closes up entirely; met level, the two separate and the piece becomes what it was drawn as. At 55cm it is best set on a console, a writing desk or a shelf near chest height, any of which does that. It wants nothing standing directly behind the opening, where a plain wall lets the pale blue keep its edge.

Reach, Tint and the Case It Travels In

The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. The arm leaves the bowl at one side and finishes in a spike and a loop above the far side of it. The reach of the arm is drawn to order, a tint is run through the bowl and let go before the arm, and the fork at the tip is made heavier. The ice blue itself can be mixed paler or deeper. It is crated singly, the arm sleeved along its whole length and the bowl bedded underneath, and the bowl takes the weight while the arm is never used as a handle. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A broad arm thrown right across its own bowl in ice-blue resin puts this splash among our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
