Honey Frosted Forked Rock on Marble Resin Sculpture - 40cm
Honey Frosted Forked Rock on Marble Resin Sculpture - 40cm $1,62000
Description

Warm honey amber fills the broken foot of this frosted rock and fades upward, so the forked head with its two rounded lobes stays almost white. The ledges at the bottom hold the strongest colour. Narrow and shallow, it presents one face to the room. Underneath is a block of black marble, which is supplied with it.

Honey Amber Warming a Frosted Foot

Amber at the foot gives the rock the warmth of sandstone in late sun, and on a frosted body it glows softly rather than shining. The colour sits in the broad ledges at the bottom and fades out through the middle, leaving the lobes of the head pale, and the piece reads as warm earth below and cool light above. The cleft between the lobes catches a shadow that keeps the pale head from flattening. It is a gentle colouring for this form and it suits rooms with timber and natural fabrics.

With the marble it stands 40cm, a height that sits well on a side table or a writing desk, where the honey reads warmly beside wood and books. Daylight from one side warms the amber at the foot, and a darker wall behind brings the white head forward. It needs only a small footprint, so it can share a surface with a lamp.

Honey, Amber or Gold, and Delivery

Lead times run 5–6 weeks bespoke and 3–4 standard. The honey can be deepened to a rich amber or lightened to straw, gold leaf can be set into the ledges at the foot, and the notch can be widened. A polished finish gives a bright, glassy version. It is shipped in a carton fitted round the lobes with its marble boxed alongside, and one pair of hands lifts it. The amber can also be carried higher, into the lobes, for a warmer piece overall. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A forked rock warmed with honey amber belongs with our organic sculptures; amber settling in the ledges of its foot puts it among our resin sculptures, and warm colour beside wood and books suits our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
