Honey Amber Bowl & Returning Arm Resin Sculpture, 65cm, with a clear curved arm sweeping from an amber-brown wave-form bowl, shown on a plain white background.
Honey Amber Bowl & Returning Arm Resin Sculpture - 65cm $2,36300
Description

Honey amber gathers in the bowl at the foot of this splash and in the points of its torn rim, deepening to a warm brown where the resin lies thickest, while everything above stays clear. From one flank of the bowl a curve of water sweeps up and over to become the arm; from the other a spray runs out low and ends in a spread of fingers. The arm crosses the piece, an oval opening set in it, then climbs, bends back over the bowl and rises at its end into a tall, fine spike.

Honey Amber Held Low, a Clear Arm Above

The colour is kept where the water is heaviest. Amber pools in the bowl and runs a little way up the curve on one flank, darkening almost to brown in the deepest folds, and it stops before the arm begins, so everything over the rim is clear resin. That division gives the splash a warm, weighty foot and a light, glassy gesture over it, and the arm's loop back above the water reads all the more crisply for carrying no colour. The points of the rim, rising out of that warmth, pale to a light gold at their tips.

On a long dresser or a deep console, at 65cm it lifts the arm's loop to chest height and shows the amber of the bowl at a glance. Warm light suits it: a lamp beside it or low evening sun makes the amber glow, while a cool white wall behind keeps the clear arm crisp. Set it square to the room, since from an angle the loop is lost against the bowl.

Amber Depth, Arm Reach and Delivery

Count on the difference between standard and bespoke: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. One honey amber splash makes up the order. Commissioned, the amber can be made richer or lighter, taken up into the arm, or exchanged for another colour, and the arm's turn can be widened or tightened, its spike drawn up further or held close above the bowl. The splash travels in a padded, braced case with the arm sleeved and each point of the rim protected, and it comes out held by the bowl. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A honey amber bowl beneath a clear arm that doubles back above the water rests among our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
