A column that turns as it climbs, drawn in to a narrow waist about halfway up and opening into a broad fan at the top and again at the foot. Smoke grey is swirled through white the whole way up, darkest where the twist doubles on itself. A black marble plinth is supplied beneath it.
A column pinched at the waist is a claim about what the material will bear, and it is made in the one place the eye goes first. One fan is broader than the other and the two sit at different angles, so the piece has a front without ever being symmetrical, and a few degrees of turn changes which of them you meet first. A body pinched to a waist and opened at both ends has to carry everything through its narrowest section, and the casting is run heaviest exactly there. Polished all over, so the swirl is read in the depth of the body and not on its surface.
A hall or an entrance, standing clear of furniture on all sides. A plain wall. The white in it will pick up any colour behind it and hold it. A single high source runs down the twist and stops at the waist, which is where the piece is most interesting. The pinch is what registers from across a room, and the fans at each end resolve as you get nearer.
Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The twist is given another half turn, the grey is deepened toward black, and a plinth of less height is cut for it. Add a half turn and the height comes down with it, because the body is one length however tightly it is wound. Plinth and casting travel apart and meet on site, with the plinth levelled before anything is set on it. Two people, and the waist is the one place it must not be carried by. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A column pinched at the waist and fanned at both ends belongs to our organic sculptures; the grey and white swirled casting joins our resin sculptures, and a hall entrance is its natural home among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
