A ribbon rising in one continuous spiral from a dark block, opening out at the top into a wide trumpet. Grey through the whole ribbon, gathering almost to black where the turns double the material. A square black block is supplied, and the ribbon rises straight from it in one unbroken climb to the trumpet.
The turns are spaced rather than stacked, so each one keeps a shadow of the turn above it and the spiral can be followed from the block right up to the trumpet, where the ribbon finally opens out and the climb stops. Crowd the turns and that reading closes up into a blur. The resin is what turns one grey into a full range of value, because a ribbon spiralling about its own axis offers a different thickness at every height. Frosted everywhere, the inner face of each turn included, since that is where the grey collects.
A hall or a landing suits it, with the whole spiral in view from one standing position. A pale ground at its back, so the darkest turns have something to be dark against. Light from one side lifts each turn out of the one beneath; flat light stacks them into a blur. The eye is carried up through the turns and stopped at the trumpet, which is what the crown is there for.
Order a standard piece and it takes 3–4 weeks; order it bespoke and it takes 5–6. On request the turn count changes, the grey is exchanged, or the block is cut in another stone. Change the turn count and the whole spiral lengthens with it, because each turn keeps its own pitch instead of being crowded into the same rise. Ribbon and block are packed apart and go together once the piece is in position. Two people: the spiral is awkward rather than heavy, and it wants steadying at both ends. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A frosted grey ribbon rising in one spiral belongs to our organic sculptures; the spiral casting joins our resin sculptures, and a landing shows it whole among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
